1. IRobot Roomba i3+ EVO
The i3+ EVO is similar to its sibling i3 EVO. They differ only in the fact that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. That makes the i3+ an excellent choice for people who want a hands-off, fully automated cleaning experience, but don't mind having to empty their dust bin manually when it is full.
Both robots excel at picking up surface debris off carpets and hard floors, and they are very good at maneuvering around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates smart maps of your home to assist the i3+ to navigate and clean up efficiently. The i3+ isn't able to have obstacle avoidance capabilities like the i7+ or any other top-rated robots we test. It can get stuck on power cords and socks, and may have trouble navigating between surfaces, such as rug and hardwood.
iRobot recommends you clear out areas that the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, which includes putting away any clutter or toys it might encounter. You should also keep the dustbin and filter clean to prevent them from getting blocked. If the i3+ EVO's internal bin is full or its battery is low it will return to its docking station and automatically emptying its trash into the station's dust bin and continues cleaning where it left off. The i3+ EVO's batteries last for approximately an hour and a half continuous use, and takes about three hours to fully recharge.
2. IRobot Roomba i7+
The iRobot i7+ is the top model in iRobot's flagship line and comes with the latest technology. It's self-charging, self-navigating, and -- the most important feature of all -- it comes with a self-emptying dustbin that eliminates one of the primary sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.
The Roomba I7+ is able to better map rooms with Imprint Smart Mapping. It also integrates with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning tasks, and you can control your robot via the app or voice.
The i7+ is faster and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. The main advantage it has over the Eufy is its self-emptying bin that eliminates the main sources of maintenance and reduces the cost of maintenance.
We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services which we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning session, move itself around the room and sweep an area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. After being connected, to give voice commands to the i7+, for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
In a world of vacuums that are cordless and look like minivans or buses, this tiny Dyson model feels like a sports car. It's powerful and has features to replace a stand-up vacuum in many households, but it also fits nicely on the coffee table or shelves where you can wave it around like a magic wand.
The V10 is powered by a 7-cell energy-dense lithium-ion battery that produces energy that is not faded for Robotvacuummops.com 60 minutes. This model has a dock which charges the Dyson to 100% within 3.5 hours. It also gives an easy access to two attachments and the Wand. This is a huge improvement over the older Dysons models, which take a long time to charge and are difficult to store.
The V10's main drawback is its short running time. As CR's tests have shown, its advertising claims of up to 60 minutes are misleading. This is an average, not an exceptional, time for a battery-powered cordless vac. This is enough time to sweep the typical home, but not enough to reach every area. (A second run usually works). This model has its own advantages, however: it's lighter and more maneuverable than earlier Dysons cordless models, and its vacuuming ability is noticeably superior on carpets with low pile.
4. iRobot Roomba 694"
One of iRobot's most adored robot vacuums, the 694 is a basic model that's a great option for those who don't want to invest too much money on a robot. It was able to remove all kinds of debris and sizes in our tests, and frequently went over the same area several times to give a thorough clean. Its flat front side helps it to reach into corners and along the edges of walls and walls, which is a nice feature.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of iAdapt technology to avoid obstacles and navigate your home. However, it isn't equipped with the mapping capabilities of more advanced models, like our top picks, i3+EVO and j7+ Series. This means that it can sometimes get stuck on things like phone cords or low furniture, and it often runs out of battery power before returning to its original location.
The Xiaomi Mi robot is superior in many ways to the Roomba 694 in that it has less parts that require regular cleaning, comes with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtering system, incurs lower cost of recurring costs, has more advanced automation abilities and is able to better navigate its own. It also has a larger dustbin and charges quicker.
The sleek RoboVac X8 has a superior battery life than the Roomba. It also has physical boundaries strips that can be controlled using the voice assistant on your smartphone. It's also more robust, has a more powerful motor, and is more effective on floors with low pile and bare.

In our tests in our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ performed well on hard floors, and cleaned up 86% of dog hair (on carpet). It did not do well in avoiding taller objects like cords or socks. This was disappointing. It's also a bit more expensive than some of the other models we've tested, which might be a deterrent for certain shoppers.
The smart vacuum has an onboard camera that is accessible via the app. You can also create a live stream from the robot's cleaning station. This feature lets you to monitor your children or pets while you are away. The filter and the dustbin can be cleaned for an easy, quick clean-up.
